HOW TO REACH THE CONFERENCE VENUE
From the airport
AIRPORT ROME FIUMICINO (FCO)
- By taxi: A taxi takes a minimum of 30 minutes and up to 1 hour depending on traffic. The cost of the ride is 50-75 Euro.
- By public transport (train): You can take a train from the airport to the stop ‘ROMA TRASTEVERE’. This is 30-minute trip (7 stops). At the train station TRASTEVERE you should change train and reach the stop ‘GEMELLI’. This is a 20-minute ride (6 stops). From the stop GEMELLI it is a 10 minute walk to the venue.
The train ride is about 1 hour. You should take the ‘regional train (TRENO REGIONALE). A train ticket is about 9 Euro. Remember to validate your ticket before getting on the train at the machines next to the platform.
AIRPORT ROME CIAMPINO (CIA)
- By taxi: A taxi takes a minimum of 30 minutes and up to 1 hour depending on traffic. The cost of the ride is 50-75 Euro.
- By public transport (bus/metro): You have multiple options to reach the conference venue with a combination of buses, trains and metro lines. The trip is about 1h30′.
You should first reach the metro station ‘ANAGNINA (Metro A)’. You can then reach the metro station ‘CORNELIA’ and from there you can walk, take a bus or a taxi. We recommend you to consult Google Maps for the fastest way and the most convenient combination of means of transport.
From the train station
- By taxi: A taxi takes about 25 minutes depending on the traffic.
- By public transport: You can take a combination of trains and metro. The trip is about 40-45 minutes. You should reach the station ROMA TERMINI and then make your way to the stop GEMELLI. We recommend you to consult Google Maps for the fastest way and the most convenient combination of means of transport.

To make your attendance to the EHMA 2023 Annual Conference as pleasant as possible, EHMA has pre-blocked a number of rooms in nearby hotels at discounted or special prices.
