Excellence in post-graduate health management programmes was a key-driver behind the establishment of EHMA in 1982 and it remains a principal focal point today.
EHMA has a well-established Programme Directors’ Group (PD Group) that brings together Programme and Course Directors, Heads of Department, Deans and any other individual representing a study course, to help ensure that taught programmes continue to provide the highest quality education for current and future health managers, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders. Led by Prof Ann Mahon, University of Manchester, the Programme Directors’ Group will organise an informal breakfast on Tuesday 6 June, from 8.30 to 9.30 in the context of the EHMA 2023 Annual Conference. By attending this session, you will learn more about the Group, its ongoing activities, and next steps. Specifically , the Programme Directors’ Group will update on the progress made in the development of a database of case studies about health management in Europe. This database will support cross-pollination and learning from across health systems and cultures.
This informal breakfast is an opportunity to network with other Programme Directors or course leaders and discuss challenges in academic programmes, in health management leadership and health systems.
